Donovans Chocolates is a Hamilton based, New Zealand owned, family company. It has a reputation for high quality chocolates and confectionary and sells in to the domestic and international markets. There is a retail outlet and cafe at the Hamilton factory.
Donovans need well presented, clear images of their products for their website, styled images for special promotions such as Valentines Day and creative images for use at the retail outlet and café.
I photograph products to clearly display the packaging detail and company logo. I also intersperse simple clear-cut images with more creative photos using innovative angles and close-ups to add interest to the on-line product list. For special promotions I create styled multi-product images that show how the products can be used to create special gifts or a personal treat.
For the retail outlet and café I have created an eye-catching and mouth-watering image of chocolates that captures the textures, size and seductive colours of the product range. This chocoholics dream features on the table-tops and doors of the café.
